Overview
Courtley’s Asbestos Awareness training course is designed to cover a range of topics relating to asbestos in the workplace. This includes why the substance was originally used. How to identify the different types of asbestos, and the possible health implications of being exposed to it.
This training is aimed at any person who works with, or works near, asbestos. Construction workers, roofers, plumbers and general maintenance workers would benefit from completing this course.
Employers have a responsibility to ensure their workers are able to identify where asbestos could be, and how to reduce the risk of exposure if any is found. They also are required to provide employees with the necessary personal protection equipment.
