This Harness Safety Training course is designed for all operatives who work at height. This could be those who are working on scaffolding, or those who are carrying out roof work and where there is no collective fall protection.
The training aims to ensure operatives are aware of the current legislation around harness safety. That they are able to correctly maintain and inspect safety equipment. And enables them to spot defects and report them in an appropriate and timely manner.
Competence:
At the end of this Harness Safety Training course, the attendee should be aware of the dangers of working at height and the importance of wearing a harness and the implications of not wearing one properly. They will be competent in the inspection of the harness and recovery from the fall.
