This training course is designed for companies and individuals who may come into contact with asbestos in construction or demolition during their work. This course gives you the knowledge and information required to take the necessary precautions when asbestos is found. It also enables you to identify possible locations where asbestos could be found.

This course merges content from the Working at Height and Ladder & Stepladder Safety training sessions.

The Working at Height section is designed to provide candidates with the knowledge to work safely at height.

The Ladder and Stepladder Safety training section will enable attendees to safely select, use and inspect ladders & stepladders for a variety of tasks.

This Risk Assessment & Method Statement training course is for those who come into contact with risk assessments and method statements at work.  The course provides the knowledge and understanding to undertake and prepare risk assessments & method statements.

IMPORTANT:

• *We can only test half-face and disposable masks. 
• *We cannot test full-face masks.
• *We do not provide masks.

Requirements for successful testing:

1. Candidates must bring their own half-face mask, along with a new set of filters.  If using a disposable mask, this must be new.

2. Candidates must be clean shaven, a wet shave with no visible hair.

3. Candidates must refrain from eating, drinking or chewing gum for 15 minutes prior to the test.

4. Candidates must refrain from smoking for 1 hour prior to the test.

This Manual Handling and COSHH Assessor course is designed for managers and supervisors who plan and define safe systems of work for others to follow.

Candidates will be able to undertake Manual Handling and COSHH assessments and apply measures to reduce risk of injury and illness to workers or the environment.

This introduction to Behavioural Safety is all about focusing in on actual behaviours of employees. The first step is giving employees at all levels an understanding of WHY people do what they do.

We can then start to apply some proven principles of Behavioural Science to help them understand how to change any critical behaviours toward work activities and environments.

• The Harness Safety element is designed to provide candidates with the knowledge to work safely at height, while also covering the correct uses of safety harnesses.

COSHH Assessor training is designed for those who select substances for use and define safe systems of work for others to follow.

Noise Awareness training raises awareness of the dangers associated with noise and the practical steps that should be taken to reduce the risk that it presents.

This Working at Height including Harness Safety and Manual Handling course is designed to provide delegates with the knowledge to work safely at height, while also covering the correct uses of safety harnesses, and safe completion of manual handling tasks.
