The SSSTS refresher course raises awareness of trends within the HSE’s direction of enforcement and bring attendees’ health & safety knowledge up-to-date. It gives an overview of the legislative changes that may impact their workplace which have taken place since they completed the 2-day Site Supervisor’s Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS).

Important: Delegates MUST hold an in-date SSSTS certificate to attend this course.

The 2-day CITB Site Supervisor’s Safety Training Scheme course is for first line managers, who have, or are about to acquire supervisory responsibilities. It aims to give them an understanding of the legal issues which affect their day to day role. This includes environmental, legal and welfare responsibilities.

This SMSTS Refresher course is for those who hold the Site Management Safety Training Scheme certificate (SMSTS) and wish to update their knowledge and skills in line with current legislation.  Successful attendees will receive a new Site Management Safety Training Scheme certificate, which is valid for 5 years.

The CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) is designed for Project Managers, Site Managers, Site Supervisors and Proprietors of smaller companies. The SMSTS course is identified in Approved Codes of Practice as the ideal core training for all Site Managers.

Anyone wishing to apply for a CSCS Labourers Green Card MUST hold a qualification, as well as passing the CITB health, safety and environment test, before applying via CSCS's website.

At Courtley, we run the 1-day CITB Health & Safety Awareness, which is an accepted qualification for CSCS Labourers Green Card applications.

The CITB Directors Role for Health & Safety course is aimed at directors and senior managers; with the purpose of recognising the human, economical and financial implications of non-compliance with health & safety legislation. The course provides a summary of how to promote a positive health and safety culture within an organisation.
