• *We can only test half-face and disposable masks. 
• *We cannot test full-face masks.
• *We do not provide masks.

Requirements for successful testing:

1. Candidates must bring their own half-face mask, along with a new set of filters.  If using a disposable mask, this must be new.

2. Candidates must be clean shaven, a wet shave with no visible hair.

3. Candidates must refrain from eating, drinking or chewing gum for 15 minutes prior to the test.

4. Candidates must refrain from smoking for 1 hour prior to the test.

This Manual Handling Train the Trainer course is an assessed and Courtley certificated course which will provide you with the tools and expertise needed to confidently deliver Manual Handling Awareness / Toolbox courses and training to your colleagues.

This 1-day combined Asbestos Awareness, Abrasive Wheels and Manual Handling training course provides delegates with essential knowledge of key workplace health and safety risks and safe working practices.

• - The Asbestos Awareness element is designed for those who may encounter asbestos during construction, maintenance, or demolition work, enabling them to recognise potential asbestos-containing materials, understand the risks involved, and take appropriate precautions.

• - The Abrasive Wheels section addresses the main causes of accidents, injuries, and ill health associated with cutting and grinding equipment, including incorrect use, unsafe practices, poor maintenance, and longer-term health issues such as dust inhalation, hand-arm vibration, and noise-induced hearing loss.

• - The Manual Handling Assessors component is aimed at individuals who plan and define safe systems of work for others, helping to reduce the risk of injury and ensure manual handling activities are carried out safely.

This Manual Handling and COSHH Assessor course is designed for managers and supervisors who plan and define safe systems of work for others to follow.

Candidates will be able to undertake Manual Handling and COSHH assessments and apply measures to reduce risk of injury and illness to workers or the environment.

This course merges content from the Working at Height, Ladder & Stepladder Safety and Harness Safety training sessions:

• The Working at Height section is designed to provide candidates with the knowledge to work safely at height.
• The Ladder and Stepladder Safety section will enable attendees to safely select, use and inspect ladders & stepladders for a variety of tasks.
• The Harness Safety element is designed to provide candidates with the knowledge to work safely at height, while also covering the correct uses of safety harnesses.

COSHH Assessor training is designed for those who select substances for use and define safe systems of work for others to follow.

Noise Awareness training raises awareness of the dangers associated with noise and the practical steps that should be taken to reduce the risk that it presents.
